Washington Children's Choice Award
 
The 2015 winner of the WCCA is The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt.
 
The Washington Children's Choice Award is selected annually by Washington State's K-3 students, who may vote for this award through their local teacher-librarian. This award is given through the Washington Library Media Association!
 
Sasquatch Award
 
The 2015 winner of the Sasquatch Award is The Dead Boys by Royce Buckingham

Newbery Awards


The 2015 Newbery Award went to The Crossover, written by Kwame Alexander.

 

The Newbery Medal was named for eighteenth-century British bookseller John Newbery. It is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children.

 

 

Caldecott Award
 
The 2015 winner of the Caldecott Award went to The Adventures of Beekle, written and illustrated by Dan Santat.

The Caldecott Medal was named in honor of nineteenth-century English illustrator Randolph Caldecott. It is awarded annually by the Association for Library Service to Children, a division of the American Library Association, to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children.
 
 
The Towner Award
